Your scholarship application preparation checklist

DISCOVER
[ ] Confirm your degree level, subject, countries and intended intake.
[ ] Check the official programme page and current award call.
[ ] Verify nationality, academic and language eligibility.
[ ] Record the exact deadline, submission time and time zone.
[ ] Read the actual funding coverage and exclusions.

PREPARE
[ ] Academic CV with accurate dates and verifiable achievements.
[ ] Transcripts and degree documents in the required format.
[ ] Institution-specific statement of purpose or motivation letter.
[ ] Research proposal, where required, based on your own ideas.
[ ] References from the people and channels required by the provider.
[ ] Language results or accepted exemption, where applicable.
[ ] Other programme-specific materials or forms.
[ ] Check rules on outside assistance, editing, drafting and AI use.

REVIEW
[ ] Check names, course codes, dates, filenames and word limits.
[ ] Confirm each statement answers that institution's prompt.
[ ] Verify every factual claim and any supporting references.
[ ] Obtain your final review and approval.
[ ] Keep passwords and sensitive documents out of enquiry forms.

SUBMIT
[ ] Follow the provider's required application route.
[ ] Submit personally where third-party submission is prohibited.
[ ] Save the submission confirmation and a copy of final documents.
[ ] Track official follow-up messages and requests for information.
