A simple website with limited browser storage

The supplied Scholarly Circle website does not include advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts or a cross-site advertising network. It uses browser storage for practical site functions described here. If additional analytics, advertising or embedded services are introduced later, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before they are activated.

Saved scholarships and guide progress

Your saved-scholarship shortlist and country-guide checklist progress are stored locally in your browser when storage is available. They are not a student account and are not automatically sent to our server. The preview notice preference may also be stored locally.

You can clear this information through your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing storage may remove saved scholarships and checklist progress. A shared device can expose locally saved preferences to another person using the same browser profile, so avoid storing sensitive information in a shared profile.

Session cookies and security

The PHP site uses a session cookie for form protection and authenticated team-portal sessions. It is not an advertising identifier. Team members must sign in to use private publishing and administration features, and inactive sessions expire. Logging out ends the authenticated session.

Server-side security controls may retain limited request-related information, such as a protected identifier used to limit repeated submissions or login attempts. These controls are intended to protect the site and are separate from the public scholarship directory.

WhatsApp, email and official provider links

Opening a WhatsApp link takes you to a service operated by another provider. Sending an email uses your chosen email application or provider. Visiting an official scholarship or university link takes you to that organisation’s site. Those services operate under their own privacy and storage practices.

The website does not need your scholarship-account passwords or payment-card details. Do not send those details through the enquiry form, email or WhatsApp.

Questions and control

You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser. Some functions, including team login, protected forms and saved preferences, may stop working. The standalone HTML preview does not transmit enquiry forms; it demonstrates the public website without the PHP backend.
